Onsite Computer Help That Comes to You
Most computer problems do not require a shop visit. Many issues are easier to solve where the computer, printer, router, and internet connection are already being used. Pineywoods Computer provides mobile service for common home and small business computer problems. We do not currently offer walk-in, drop-off, or meetup service. A service call includes travel, diagnosis, and practical troubleshooting during the onsite visit. If the problem requires parts, software, replacement equipment, or work beyond the original service call, we’ll explain that before moving forward.

A lot of today’s “virus” problems are really fake warnings, browser notification scams, or scareware designed to make you call a fake support number.
Pineywoods Computer can check for suspicious popups, unwanted programs, browser junk, remote access software, startup items, and other common problems. Even when the issue looks simple, we follow a cleanup process to make sure nothing important gets missed.

Service Calls and Pricing
Pineywoods Computer is a mobile computer repair service. That means we come to your home or small business and work onsite whenever possible.
Service calls typically start at $140 in Nacogdoches and $150 for rural or out-of-town calls.
Some problems only take a few minutes to fix, but the service call includes travel, diagnosis, cleanup or repair work, and basic verification so we can make sure the obvious problem is not hiding something bigger.

Windows 10 Has Ended
Microsoft ended regular support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. Windows 10 computers still turn on and run, but they no longer receive regular security updates from Microsoft.
If you still use a Windows 10 computer for email, banking, shopping, business work, or saved passwords, it is worth checking whether the computer can upgrade to Windows 11 or whether replacement makes more sense.

Repair or Replace?
Not every computer is worth repairing.
Sometimes a slow computer just needs cleanup. Other times an SSD upgrade makes sense. In other instances, the computer is old, the drive is failing, or the cost of repair would be better put toward a replacement.
Pineywoods Computer will give you honest advice. The goal is not to sell repairs you do not need. The goal is to help you make the best practical decision.
